About us
CRA-Z-ART, based in Randolph, NJ, offers original, creative, exciting and trendy activity, toy, art and stationery products. The CRA-Z-ART management team has over 120 years of experience in creating, manufacturing and marketing stationery and activities products. At CRA-Z-ART we clearly, understand the needs of the retailer and the desires of our consumers. We make it a point daily to be....Always creative!
Family Business Takes Root: 1923-80s In 1923 Isidor Rosen founded the Rosebud Art Company, a small New York producer of coloring books. During the 1930s, the company changed its product offerings to focus on games and puzzles. Two decades after its founding, the company s name was changed to Rose Art, and Isidor's sons Irving and Sydney assumed control of operations. During their tenure, Rose Art diversified its product offerings to include novelties, American flags, and art and school supplies.
Management History: With Larry as president and CEO and Jeff as COO, the Rosen brothers continued the entrepreneurial spirit of the company by developing a growth strategy based on acquisitions and new product development. Rose Art president Larry Rosen noted in the New Jersey Business Magazine that the company would continue to grow through "acquisitions, creativity and innovation."
The Birth of CRA-Z-ART In 2006, Larry exited the toy and stationery business and became involved in the fundraising and candy industry. However, his passion and heart remained with his first love, toy and stationery, and in late 2008 he set out to establish another Rosen family run toy/stationery business. The result: CRA-Z-ART!
